About the Event

All prospective volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Orientation at Project Mona’s House before serving. Orientation takes place from 10:00–11:00 AM and provides an overview of our mission, programs, expectations, and volunteer roles.

In addition, all volunteers must complete our 4-hour Human Trafficking Training, held from 12:00–4:00 PM. This training equips volunteers with a foundational understanding of human trafficking, trauma-informed care, boundaries, and best practices for working with survivors and at-risk individuals.

While Orientation and Training do not have to be completed on the same day, both are required in order to become and remain an active volunteer. The Human Trafficking Training is offered once per month.
