About the Event
All prospective volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Orientation at Project Mona’s House before serving. Orientation takes place from 10:00–11:00 AM and provides an overview of our mission, programs, expectations, and volunteer roles.
While Orientation and Training do not have to be completed on the same day, both are required in order to become and remain an active volunteer. The Human Trafficking Training is offered once per month.
Our 4-hour Human Trafficking Training is a required step for anyone seeking to serve as an active volunteer with Project Mona’s House. This training is designed to educate, ground, and prepare volunteers to serve responsibly and ethically in anti-trafficking work.
During this session, participants will:
Learn accurate, real-world definitions of human trafficking
Review actual case examples to understand how trafficking presents in everyday life
