A man from San Antonio, Daniel Vidales, has been charged with online solicitation of a minor with intent for sexual contact, possession of child pornography, promotion of child pornography, sexual assault of a child, and sexual performance by a child.
According My San Antonio, Vidales was arrested on a separate case in September that involved the sexual assault of a child. After he was arrested, Vidales’ phone was confiscated and searched. At this time, officials discovered that the 26-year-old had been corresponding with a teenage male victim.
In the messages that were uncovered, Vidales told the teenager that he wanted “to have sex with the child victim as many times as possible while he was still 16” (My San Antonio). Police also found videos of sexual assault, and child exploitation.
